Abstract

[cat] Els llibres il·lustrats són els primers apropaments que tenim quan som petits al món de l'art i és per això que he decidit agafar aquesta modalitat, la il·lustració, per explicar la meva història. En menys de vint pàgines i amb un conjunt de 20 il·lustracions, explico el relat d'una nena que es troba en el pas entre la infantesa i l’etapa que s’anomena “infantesa intermèdia”, que comprèn des dels sis als dotze anys; també exploro la peculiar relació que té amb la lluna. És un conte bastant breu i obert a la interpretació de cada persona. És una història en primera persona, basada en alguns records i somnis de la meva infantesa i l'he creat amb molta estima i dedicació. Un dels meus objectius és poder transmetre tots aquests sentiments que tinc i que qualsevol persona s’hi pugui identificar i connecti amb les meves il·lustracions i el petit món que he creat.

[eng] Illustration books have been the first approach to the art world for a lot of children, that’s why I choose this modality, illustration, to tell my story. In less than 20 pages and almost 20 illustrations I explain the story of a little girl who’s in between her childhood and “middle childhood” – which covers the stage between six and twelve years old -, and I explore her peculiar relationship with the moon. It’s a fairly short story and very open to everyone’s interpretation. The story it’s narrated in first-person, based on memories and dreams of my childhood and I created it with a lot of care and dedication. One of my goals is being able to convey all these feelings that I have and that anyone can connect with it and with my illustrations and the little world I created.
