dc.description.abstractWe have used Optical Tweezers to mechanically stretch an RNA hairpin under dif-ferent salt and temperature conditions, in order to analyze the effect of these parameters on its physical properties. Applying single-molecule force spectroscopy methods we study the presumably highly complex transition which qualitative agrees with the behaviour expected.
