dc.description.abstract[en] The main objective of this project, is to enunciate and prove the Riemann’s existence theorem from a topological point of view. For this, basic concepts of Riemann surfaces and of covering spaces are given. Finally, one of the many applications it has is presented, the classification of compact and connected Riemann surfaces of genus 2.ca
