Abstract

[cat] El present projecte investiga la relació entre art i cuina.Actualment, la gastronomia s’ha convertit en tota una experiència sensorial i emotiva on l’aparença del menjar, reconstruïda mitjançant el tall, hi juga un paper clau. Tallar esdevé l’eina per a transformar els ingredients i convertir-los en llenguatge. En aquest cas, i a través del dibuix, es procedeix a “tallar” 6 verdures en 10 estructures diferents (60 talls i 60 DIN A4 en total) creant 6 series de 10 dibuixos. Cada tall juga amb la seva ubicació dins el pla, creant així sensacions diverses i fent referència al poder visual tant en l’art com en la gastronomia.

[eng] The following project is about the relationship between art and cookery. Nowadays, gastronomy has turned into an emotional experience in which the appearance of food is an important quality. Cutting has become a tool so as to change the shape of the ingredients and create a new language. In this case, 6 vegetables have been cut using the paper as a plate and colour pencils as knives. There are 6 series of 10 drawings each one (60 drawings in total) that build the whole project. Each cut is differently located on the surface so as to create several emotions and to demonstrate the influence of visual aspects in both art and gastronomy.
