La literatura infantil hebrea en època preestatal

Abstract

[cat] El present treball se centra en un període concret de la història de la literatura infantil hebrea, des de finals del segle XIX fins a la creació de l’estat l’Israel. En poc més de cinquanta anys, la llengua hebrea va passar de ser una llengua adormida a una llengua viva i moderna. Va ser el període marcat per la difusió de la llengua mitjançant els textos editats en diferents diaris i publicats per les editorials de l’Europa de l’Est i de Palestina. En aquest espai de temps, la literatura infantil va tenir un paper molt destacat en la recuperació de la llengua hebrea i en l’educació de les primeres generacions d’infants nascuts a Eretz Israel. La innovació del treball rau en el fet que és el primer estudi que es duu a terme, en una universitat de l’estat espanyol, sobre la literatura infantil hebrea preestatal, la importància d’aquesta literatura en la revivificació de la llengua hebrea i la seva influència en la cultura israeliana actual. A més, es presenta la primera traducció al català del conte Els galls i la guineu, de Hayyim Nahman Bialik, un dels autors que van contribuir a la renovació de llengua hebrea.

[eng] The present work focuses on a specific period in the history of Hebrew children’s literatura, from the end of the 19th century until the creation of the State of Israel. I just over fifty years, the Hebrew language went from being a sleeping language to being a living, modern language. In was a període marked by the spread of the language by means of texts edited in diferent newspapers amb published in the publishing houses of Eastern Europe and Palestine. In this període of time, children’s literatura played a very important role in the recovery of the Hebrew language and in the education of the firts generations of children born in Eretz Israel. The innnovation of this work lies in the fact that it is the firts study to be carried out, in a Spanish university, of pre-state Hebrew children’s literature, its importance in the revival of a Hebrew language, and ist influence on current Israeli culture. In addition, is presented the firts translation into Catalan of the tale The Cock and the Fox by Hayimm Nahman Bialik, one of the autors that contributed to the revision of Hebrew.
