dc.description.abstract[en] CriptoArt is an application designed to democratize and bring the buying and selling of digital art to all audiences in a simple, secure and decentralized way. The goal is to create an online store where any user can generate a certificate of authenticity and authorship of a multimedia file and, at the same time, offer a space where the rest of the users can admire and buy these digital artworks, in the same way as it would be done in a physical art gallery. To make this possible, a set of web-based technologies3 are used to store, transfer and authenticate a multimedia file unequivocally, without the intervention of traditional banking institutions or centralized servers. Among the various technologies used in this project, NFTs, smart contracts and the use of blockchain stand out. The application is aimed at all audiences, but, above all, it is especially focused on users with little experience with web3 environment applications, who are looking to take their first steps in the world of NFT. This website is available in Catalan, a fact that quite possibly makes this NFT online store the only or one of the few available in this language.ca
