Sulpícia, retrat de 'docta puella': traducció i estudi dels poemes IV 7 (III 13) - IV 12 (III 18) del 'Corpus Tibullianum'

Abstract

[cat] Sulpícia és una poetessa romana del període augusteu. La seva producció literària consta de sis poemes breus preservats en el darrer llibre del 'Corpus Tibullianum'. L'objectiu d’aquest treball és apropar-se a aquesta figura femenina mitjançant un estudi exhaustiu de les composicions. L'estudi inclou una traducció pròpia al català, un comentari de les possibles lectures crítiques que ofereix el text llatí i una anàlisi des del punt de vista lèxic, morfològic, sintàctic, estilístic i literari. Prèviament a això, es tracta el sorgiment de la 'docta puella' i la divisió i la transmissió manuscrita del 'Corpus Tibullianum' a fi de contextualitzar Sulpícia i el repertori textual al qual pertanyen els seus poemes. Així doncs, la present investigació pretén mostrar el valor de l'obra poètica atribuïda a Sulpícia.

[eng] Sulpicia is a Roman poetess of the Augustan period. Her literary production consists of six short poems preserved in the last book of the 'Corpus Tibullianum'. The aim of this work is approaching to this female figure through an exhaustive study of her compositions. The study includes a Catalan translation, a commentary on the possible critical readings offered by Latin text and an analysis from lexical, morphological, syntactic, stylistic and literary perspectives. In a previous chapter, the emergence of the 'docta puella' and the division and manuscript transmission of the 'Corpus Tibullianum' are discussed in order to contextualize Sulpicia and the textual repertoire to which her poems belong. Thus, this research aims to highlight the value of the poetic work attributed to Sulpicia.
