Mobiliario urbano: Sostenibilidad para la ciudad a pequeña escala

[spa] Este documento pretende comunicar la situación actual del medio ambiente, los riesgos a futuro y que alternativas existen en el entorno urbano (más especifico, elementos urbanos) para combatir esta problemática y crear entornos prósperos para la ciudadanía y para el mismo espacio en sí. El trabajo pretende estudiar y analizar las propuestas de mobiliario urbano que se utilizan actualmente en los espacios públicos de Barcelona con un enfoque sustentable por la tecnología implementada, o bien, que sean autosuficientes, que beneficien la generación de energía renovable o mejoren su eficiencia energética. Será fundamental identificar las características más importantes de cada proyecto respecto a su funcionalidad, materialidad, especificaciones técnicas y la relación del elemento con su entorno. Ya que no existe una ruta de estudio para este trabajo, se tomara como área de estudio los espacios públicos de Barcelona y sus alrededores debido al esparcimiento de los proyectos de esta categoría en donde la innovación en tema de generación de energía se esté desarrollando con su implementación en aceras, parques y plazas. Se analizarán diferentes modelos de luminarias utilizadas en la ciudad, ya que este elemento toma un papel importante en el tema. También se documentaran las propuestas más innovadoras fuera de la ciudad pero dentro de la Unión Europea. La idea principal del presente trabajo es reunir el conocimiento adecuado respecto al tema y dotar de las herramientas necesarias para su futura implementación en proyectos de diseño de mobiliario urbano sustentable.

[eng] This document aims to communicate the current situation of the environment, future risks and the existing alternatives in the urban context (more specifically, urban elements) to take action in this matter and create prosperous environments for citizens and for the space itself. The work aims to study and analyze the urban furniture proposals that are currently used in public spaces around Barcelona with a sustainable approach due to the technology implemented, or that are self-sufficient, that benefit the generation of renewable energy or improve their energy efficiency. It will be essential to identify the most important characteristics of each project regarding its functionality, materiality, technical specifications and the relationship of the element with its environment. Since there is no a study route for this project, the public spaces of Barcelona and its surroundings will be taken as the study area due to the spread of projects in this category where innovation in the field of energy generation is being developed with its implementation on sidewalks, parks and squares. Different models of luminaires used in the city will be analyzed, since this element plays an important role in the subject. The most innovative proposals outside the city but within the European Union will also be documented. The main idea of this work is to gather the adequate knowledge regarding the subject and provide the necessary tools for its future implementation in sustainable urban furniture design projects.
