Abstract: [en] Throughout this project, we are going to study the games with incomplete information. This works presents the Harsanyi’s transformation, that allows us to transform a game with incomplete information into a complete but imperfect information game. We are going to see all the implications that this result can have. We will start by seeing an introduction to understand the basic aspects of game theory. Then, we will explain the main topics of this project such as the definition of a Bayesian game or the Harsanyi’s transformation. After that, we will see how useful can this kind of games be, by studying an example, the chain store game. And last but not least, we will study some applications of Bayesian games in the real world, like auction theory or mechanism design.
