L’educació social en els serveis sociosanitaris d’hospitalització: treballant pel benestar integral de la persona

[cat] L'ingrés i l'estada perllongada en una unitat d'hospitalització sociosanitària implica un canvi per a la persona i per les persones del seu entorn. Amb una mirada holística i considerant el benestar i la salut des d'una dimensió biopsicosocial, aquest estudi té com a finalitat donar valor a l'educació social en aquests espais com a professió que contribueix en el benestar de les persones ingressades i familiars. Amb aquesta finalitat, es va dur a terme una recerca sota el paradigma interpretatiu amb una metodologia mixta fent servir com a instruments de recollida de dades l'entrevista i el qüestionari a professionals, persones ingressades i familiars de l'hospital sociosanitari. L'anàlisi de les dades triangulades genera uns resultats que, tot i existir encara desconeixement de la professió de l'educació social, majoritàriament hi ha un reconeixement per part de totes les persones participants de la importància d'aspectes socioeducatius en la millora del benestar. Com a conclusió, es pot destacar que la presència de l'educació social en les unitats d'hospitalització és necessària per promoure el benestar integral de la persona i per acompanyar les persones en situacions de vulnerabilitat i vetllar per la garantia dels seus drets.

[eng] Admission and prolonged stay in a socio-sanitary hospitalization unit implies a change for the person and for the people around him/her. With a holistic view and considering the welfare and health from a biopsychosocial dimension, this study aims to give value to social education in these spaces as a profession that contributes to the welfare of the people admitted and their families. With this purpose, a research was carried out under the interpretative paradigm with a mixed methodology using as instruments of data collection the interview and the questionnaire to professionals, people admitted and relatives of the socio-sanitary hospital. The analysis of the triangulated data generates results that, despite the fact that there is still a lack of knowledge of the profession of social education, there is a majority recognition by all participants of the importance of socio-educational aspects in the improvement of well-being. In conclusion, it can be highlighted that the presence of social education in hospitalization units is necessary to promote the integral wellbeing of the person and to accompany people in situations of vulnerability and ensure the guarantee of their rights.
