Abstract: The final degree project analyzes the influence of macroeconomic variables on the financial markets of the OECD countries. The relationship between economic growth, inflation, and long-term interest rates with stock prices. The results show the existence of significant relationship between these variables, which indicates that macroeconomic factors have a significant impact on the dynamics of financial markets. It is shown that higher economic growth is associated with an increase in share prices, that inflation has a negative impact on financial markets, and that the variation of long-term interest rates directly affects the financial markets. All these findings provide valuable insights for investors and policy makers, enabling more informed and strategic investment decisionmaking.
