dc.description.abstract[en] Error-correcting codes play a very important role in the transmission and storage of data, allowing for the correction of errors that may occur during these processes. Among these codes, BCH codes (Bose-Chaudhuri-Hocquenghem) stand out for their efficiency and widespread use. In this thesis, we will study BCH codes and, in particular, focus on the decoding problem. We will explain three decoding algorithms for these codes and implement them in the C programming language.ca
