Abstract: A Monte Carlo simulation program is developed to investigate the influence of the Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction on the emergence of topologically nontrivial magnetic structures in two-dimensional systems. The simulation is designed to explore the conditions under which skyrmions, antiskyrmions and bimerons manifest in the presence of competing interactions. A lowtemperature phase diagram for a FM thin film without magnetocrystalline anisotropy is determined along with the dependence of the aforementioned magnetic structures with the system parameters
