La poesia neomística de Joan Vinyoli. Una lectura de Llibre d’amic i Cants d’Abelone

Abstract

[cat] Aquesta tesi presenta una lectura aprofundida de Llibre d’amic i Cants d’Abelone de Joan Vinyoli, dos llibres que l’autor va concebre per formar díptic i en què intentà reflectir una aventura d’ordre fisicoespiritual poetitzant el salt transcendental de l’amor transitiu a l’amor sense objecte. Els termes amb què el poeta definí aquesta poesia (“neomística” i “mística profana”), juntament amb alguns dels elements paratextuals d’ambdós reculls, n’ha motivat una anàlisi hermenèutica comparada amb la resta d’obres vinyolianes i amb un seguit de referents tant de la tradició pròpia com universal, especialment de la mística i la germànica. Altres informacions i materials indispensables acompanyen aquesta proposta interpretativa, inèdita, per arrodonir-la i fer-ne la més completa fins a dia d’avui a propòsit del díptic misticoamorós de Vinyoli: un recorregut pel procés de gestació, escriptura i publicació d’un i altre volum permet entendre quin lloc ocupen en el tramat vital i literari de l’autor; un estat de la qüestió bibliogràfica recopila i endreça totes les aportacions que els estudiosos n’han fet fins al moment; un apartat dedicat a la seva història genètica ofereix una descripció i un comentari de les variants que permet reconstruir el procés original de creació d’aquests textos, resseguir- ne l’evolució i millorar-ne la comprensió, un exercici que ha estat possible gràcies a l’accés, per primer cop, a tota la documentació original del Fons Joan Vinyoli; una lectura final d’El griu com a continuïtat del projecte poètic que representen Llibre d’amic i Cants d’Abelone planteja la possibilitat de dilatar el concepte de díptic fins al de tríptic. Tot plegat permet consolidar Joan Vinyoli com un poeta imprescindible de la poesia catalana contemporània i brinda una visió panoràmica i actualitzada de dues obres crucials a l’hora d’explicar la seva figura i el conjunt de la seva producció des de la complexitat i la originalitat que les defineixen.

[eng] This thesis presents an in-depth reading of Llibre d’amic and Cants d’Abelone by Joan Vinyoli, two books that the author conceived to form a diptych and in which he tried to reflect a physical-spiritual adventure by poeticizing the transcendental leap from transitive love to intransitive love. The terms with which the poet defined this poetry (“neomystic” and “profane mysticism”), along with some of the paratextual elements of both volumes, have motivated a hermeneutic analysis compared to the rest of Vinyoli’s works and to a series of referents both of Catalan and universal literature, especially of mysticism and Germanic. Other essential information and materials accompany this interpretive proposal to round it out and make it the most complete to date regarding Vinyoli’s diptych: a journey through the process of conception, writing and publication of both books allows us to understand what place they occupy in the author’s life and literary career; a state of the bibliographic issue collects and organizes all the contributions that scholars have made to date; a section dedicated to its genetic history offers a description and a commentary on the variants that allows us to reconstruct the original process of creating these texts, trace their evolution and improve their understanding, an exercise that has been possible thanks to access, for the first time, to all the original documentation of the Joan Vinyoli Fund; a final reading of El griu as a continuation of the poetic project represented by Llibre d’amic and Cants d’Abelone raises the possibility of expanding the concept of diptych to triptych. All together allows to consolidate Joan Vinyoli as an essential poet of contemporary Catalan poetry and provides a panoramic and updated view of two crucial works when explaining his figure and the whole of his production from the complexity and the originality that define them.
