(Des)coneixement dels espais d’educació lliure Xantala i Petit Molinet

Abstract

[cat] El sentit de l’educació és quelcom personal, ja que són les persones qui eduquen i en conseqüència, es transmet una part de l’essència de cadascú, convertint-la en un fet únic per a cadascuna de les persones implicades en el context educatiu. Per aquest motiu, aquesta investigació vol evidenciar aquest debat existent sobre el sentit de l’educació, però centrant-lo en el context de l’educació lliure, és a dir, pretén visibilitzar el debat actual en el camp educatiu entre l’educació lliure i altres corrents de pensament educatiu, des del punt de vista de l’educació activa, així com mostrar les opinions de les persones acompanyants i famílies dels espais d’educació lliure Xantala i Petit Molinet sobre la crítica que reben des d’altres corrents de pensament educatiu i finalment, comprendre el paper de l’Educació Social en aquests espais. Per això, en aquest estudi qualitatiu basat en un estudi de dos casos, mitjançant l’entrevista, s’han entrevistat a nou persones (77,78% dones, 22,22% homes). Els resultats assenyalen una manca de coneixement dels espais d’educació lliure escollits relacionat amb la interpretació de l’educació lliure i les dificultats que han d’afrontar, així com s’evidencia una falta de reconeixement. Finalment, es conclou que l’Educació Social pot tenir un paper en aquests espais.

[eng] The meaning of education is something personal, since it is people who educate and, consequently, a part of the essence of each person is transmitted, making it unique for each of the people involved in the educational context. For this reason, this research aims to highlight this existing debate on the meaning of education, but focusing on the context of free education, so, it aims to make visible the current debate in the educational field between free education and other currents of educational thought, from the point of view of active education, as well as to show the opinions of the people accompanying and families of the free education spaces Xantala and Petit Molinet on the criticism they receive from other currents of educational thought and, finally, to understand the role of Social Education in these spaces. For this reason, in this qualitative study based on a two-case study, nine people were interviewed (77.78% women, 22.22% men). The results point to a lack of knowledge of the chosen free education spaces related to the interpretation of free education and the difficulties they have to face, as well as a lack of recognition. Finally, it is concluded that Social Education can have a role in these spaces.
