Abstract: | This document summarizes the methodological approach of the SEXMEDIA project and the main tools for conducting fieldwork. It explains the selection of participants, includes brief tips for applying each research technique, and defines the researchers’ position, the foundations for data analysis, and the main outputs expected to emerge throughout the project. It is a brief document intended to serve as a guide for the research team and aims to transparently reveal the inner workings of the SEXMEDIA project. The main objective is to understand how young people experience and learn about sexualities informally through the media and transfer these informal learnings and experiences to society through educational and dissemination materials. The project “Tales from Sex, Media and Youth: Experiences of Young People Learning about Sexualities through Media”, SEXMEDIA (CNS2023-145333), is funded by MICIU/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and by the European Union NextGenerationEU/ PRTR), at the University of Barcelona |
