| Abstract: | In recent years, growing scientific attention has converged on the intricate, bidirectional relationship between physical health and mental well-being. Chronic inflammation, disruptions in the gut–brain axis and microbiota, and metabolic alterations such as obesity and type 2 diabetes have all been implicated in the pathophysiology of neuropsychiatric disorders. These insights are not merely academic—they are transforming how we approach, frame, and treat neuropsychiatric disorders. |
