Abstract: | This project has been created for the company Consorci de Salut i Social de Catalunya. CSC is a company with great influence in the health sector with an experience since more than 25 years and it has partners throughout Catalonia and several countries of Latin America. The idea was born from the need to improve the Intranet, which are used approximately 500 users. To make the project we were looking for open source tools satisfying all the needs of the new environment; after some tries we decided to use Plone. In addition to the nstallation and configuration of Plone, we have created their own development as a personalized (and more dynamic) intranet home page that shows a daily event for each center, the management of public tenders offering a technological improvement to the purchasing department, the institutional database query’s improving the efficiency of administrative tasks, etc ... Our public tender’s management has considerably reduced the documents exchange and optimized the human resources department. This project will provide to CSC an intuitive and easy tool to use, an improved enterprise management and department communications. |
