Abstract: This project was born in the hands of Jos ́e Bosch Estrada, teacher of University of Barcelona of Electronic Department. The choice of this project was motivated to have different layers of infrastructure to accomplish the target and acquire knowledge in photography. The project has a powerful target with the characteristic to be unique and to make easy the work of users with few technology knowledge. A further more It will be integrated with another projects to increase usefulness, effectiveness and remote manipulation of a DSLR camera. The first target is the remote control of a DSLR camera to change any parameter and the manipulation of the camera is avoided. The distance of the control depends of WIFI antenna used to communication between client and server. A normal antenna has a coverage of 90m in outside. The second target is to accomplish 3 edition methods: HDR ( High Dynamic Range), It allows you a great dynamic range of luminosity combining different exposures levels; Timelapse, It is a method to capture events with low speed; Focus stacking, It is to get a 100% focused image. Any person with basic knowledge will be able to use the application and to have access any functionality from any part of the application. To start using the application is necessary to connect hardware with the camera and log on WIFI. When users are connected on network, they can get the user interface of application. The result of this project is an application can use basic functionalities of a DSLR cam like: LiveView; PreView and Shoot. Image can be viewed in full screen to have a better resolution. The user interface has 4 switchable modes: Normal, to change any parameter of the camera; HDR, to create a HDR with some frames in only one click; Timelapse, to generate a video defining interval seconds between frame and frame, how many frames and how many fps ( frames per second in video); and the last mode is Focus stacking, to get a 100% focused image, users have to define a number of frames.
