[cat] La idea principal del projecte Treball Final de Grau seria la creació d’espais i elements associats a antics mites de la cultura mediterrània, que parteix d’una reinterpretació d’entorns presents als textos dels poetes clàssics, a través d’una obra gràfica que, tot aprofitant com a inspiració el corpus cultural antic, extregui d’aquest material els elements d’una obra nova. Una de les particularitats del projecte té a veure amb l’ús de materials culturals que perviuen de manera precària en la societat actual, tot i estar a la base dels nostres comportaments i la nostra manera de veure el món, perquè la modernitat ha bandejat les fonts de la pròpia cultura com a continguts de culturització de la gent. Partint de la meva experiència de descoberta d’aquests textos, sovint poc coneguts i prescindibles pel que fa a l’interès de la gent jove, m’adono de la capacitat d’evocació d’imatges que aporta el corpus literari del passat, de la quantitat de reinterpretacions que se’n poden fer, i penso que són elements rics des del punt de vista plàstic. La idea del projecte (el què) aniria indestriablement associada a la manera d’abordar el treball (el com), ja que la einterpretació de la narració clàssica es vol fer a través de la combinació de l’ús de noves tecnologies amb eines de caire més tradicional de producció gràfica.

[eng] The main purpose of the project is the creation of elements and places related to ancient myths of Mediterranean culture, that begins with the reinterpretation of present environments in works of different poets, making graphical work using the ancient cultural corpus as inspiration for it. And then, extracting from this material the elements of a new work. The use of cultural materials that prevails in a precarious state nowadays is one of the distinctive features of the project. In spite of being in our behaviour base and way to see the world, modernity has marginalized the sources of our own culture as people’s education sources. Going from my own experience of discovering this literary works, often rarely known and dispensable for young people’s interests, I realize the past literary corpus contribution of its evocation capacity of images, the amount of reinterpretations that people can do, and I think these elements are rich from the plastic point of view. The idea of the project goes inseparably related to the way to deal with this work, considering that I want to do the classic story reinterpretation through using and combining the new technologies with graphic production tools that are more traditional.
