Els Invisibles. Una aproximació al Treball Sexual Masculí des de l’Educació Social

Abstract

[cat] El treball sexual masculí és un món complex que mai no ha estat gaire analitzat ni atès. Aquest TFG pretén fer una aproximació al tema des de l’educació social, tot repassant la legislació referent al treball sexual, les diferents perspectives politicosocials que guien els discursos i abordatges del treball sexual, els espais on s’exerceix, l’estigmatització a què aquests homes estan sotmesos i el fenomen del VIH-Sida entre treballadors sexuals. D’altra banda, també es busca establir unes particularitats comuns i una classificació d’aquestes persones en funció de com entenen ells mateixos el treball sexual. Un altre dels punts tractats és l’anàlisi de l’abordatge que es fa d’aquest col·lectiu des de les organitzacions socials de Barcelona. Finalment, es plantegen tres propostes per a treballar amb el col·lectiu des de l’educació social.

[eng] Male sex work has usually been an understudied subject. This project tries to approach the issue from a social education perspective, reviewing current sex work legislation, the different socio-political outlooks that guide the sex work discourse, the places where it’s practiced, the stigmatization these men are subject to and HIV-AIDS among sex workers. Moreover, I also try to establish a common set of characteristics within those men and to classify them based on their own consideration of sex work. Another topic is the analysis of which services Barcelona organizations offer to this community. Finally, I propose three ways to work with male sexual workers from the social education point-of-view.
