| Abstract: | This paper presents a brief review of different aspects concerning Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD): core symptoms, evolution from childhood to adulthood, prevalence, comorbidity, diagnostic criteria and treatment history. A new model of ADHD, which proposes that the deficit in behavioral inhibition is the core problem of the disorder, is discussed. |
