Starting from a review of the art and literature to understand the NOx formation phenomena and then, using the commercial computational fluid dynamics software ANSYS FLUENT to perform a sensitivity analysis of this water addition. More specifically, first is a description of what can be found when searching for computational fluid dynamics and water injection engines. Secondly, there is shown the structure and the main characteristics of a simulation performed in ANSYS FLUENT.
