The patterns are: a) Rising Final Inflection (30% to 52%), b) Rising-Falling Final Inflection, c) High Nucleus Final Inflection. These patterns have been established from the acoustic analysis and standardisation of 55 questions and from the verification of their validity in a perception test. We compared them with interrogative patterns obtained in different parts of Brazil and also in two Romance languages, Spanish and Catalan.8 p.application/pdfengcc-by (c) Cantero Serena, Francisco José, 1964- et al., 2013http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/esEntonació (Fonètica)PortuguèsBrasilIntonation (Phonetics)PortugueseBrazilThe Intonation of absolute questions of Brazilian Portugueseinfo:eu-repo/semantics/article6297032015-01-20info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess
