Newton-Hooke algebras, nonrelativistic branes, and generalized pp-wave metrics

Nonrelativistic brane actions are WZ terms of these Newton-Hooke algebras. The NH algebras appear also as subalgebras of multitemporal relativistic conformal algebras, SO(d+1,p+2).
