We will focus on the Coleman-Weinberg (CW) mechanism, in which the mass term from the Higgs potential is turned off, thus obtaining a theory classically invariant under dilatations. It is due to quantum effects that the spontaneous breaking of this symmetry occurs. We will study the viability of this scenario treating with the CW potential and doing numerical testing as well as proposing possible modifications of the SM5 p.application/pdfengcc-by-nc-nd (c) Rius, 2021http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/es/BosonsDilatóModel estàndard (Física nuclear)Treballs de fi de grauBosonsDilatonStandard model (Nuclear physics)Bachelor's thesesHiggs Physics and possible extentions of the Standard Modelinfo:eu-repo/semantics/bachelorThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess
