We illustrate the subtlety of the problem by studying monomial and some closely related ideals. Our results exemplify the intriguing dependence of the property on the characteristic of the ground field and on arithmetic properties of the exponent vectors of the monomials.29 p.application/pdfeng(c) American Mathematical Society (AMS), 2011ÀlgebraGeometria algebraica aritmèticaÀlgebra vectorialAlgebraArithmetical algebraic geometryVector algebraMonomial ideals, almost complete intersections and the Weak lefschetz Propertyinfo:eu-repo/semantics/article5891592016-03-17info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess
