We discuss the ground state energy using a mean-field approximation and introducing pair correlations. To solve the many-body problem we used Monte Carlo techniques: Variational and Diffusion Monte Carlo. We find that two-body correlations lower significantly the energy per particle of the system in the strong interaction limit5 p.application/pdfengcc-by-nc-nd (c) Sarlé, 2017http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/es/BosonsMètode de MontecarloTreballs de fi de grauBosonsMonte Carlo methodBachelor's thesesMonte Carlo study of 2D bosonic gasesinfo:eu-repo/semantics/bachelorThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess
