In wide territories rural space has turned into a multifunctional space where agriculture is one of many activities, and not always the most important. To a morphologycally broken space, with great climate contrasts, agricu1ture has responded by adaptating in multiple ways, that, along with the different sociostructural and economic situations results in a wide variety of agricultures, with different developing levels and multiple forms of using land in a contrasting landscape that notably varies at very hgort distances o Catalonia represents a 6,32% of the state territory, but has less than the 5% of its surface for cultivation. The cultivated surface is worked on by a 5,4% of the total active state population and from which the 5,7% of the total farmlands and 11,8% of the total agricultural production is obtained.17 p.application/pdfengcc-by-nc-nd (c) Majoral i Moliné, Roser, 1942-2005, 1986http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/esAgriculturaCatalunyaAgricultureCatalonia'Catalonian agriculture'info:eu-repo/semantics/article0029352019-10-25info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess
