Initially, concerns about the warming effects of gasses were countered by suggestions that human activity could have cooling effects on the environment through the use of aerosols. However, by the 1970’s scientific consensus had veered towards warming rather than cooling. In 1975, Wallace Broecker published a paper titled, Climate Change: Are we on the Brink of a Pronounced Global Warming? This paper is often credited with coining the term ‘global warming.’87 p.application/pdfengcc-by-nc-nd (c) Ellis, 2016http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/es/Globalització (Economia)Escalfament globalCanvi climàticEnergies renovablesTreballs de fi de màsterGlobalization (Economics)Global warmingClimatic changeRenewable energy sourcesMaster's thesesA Future of Decentralised Energy?
