This process, which has taken place at the Department of Interactive Technologies at the Pompeu Fabra University, has been carried out in a research-through-design approach, complemented with several research activities involving observation and debate with participants from an adult school in La Verneda, Barcelona: Àgora. We have checked the relationships of the subjects with emotional interfaces such as ECAs, gathered their concerns about the changes that these interfaces can introduce, as well as the technology that supports them and makes them relevant (AI, IoT) and other relevant technological currents.
