The intewention combines the teaching of cognitive strategies, such as stepwise self-instruction, problem-solving, modeling, self-control, self-evaluation with behavior modification techniques, such as contingent reinforcement and token economy. The treatrnent was applied during three months, with children between 8 and 12 years, with one weekly session. Treatment outcome was assessed pre-treatment, post-treatment and ut follow-up one month ajier the program finished.
