The event hosted more than 1200 participants from 61 different countries. Attendees are a great variety of professionals; you could have met dentists, pharmacists, cancer nurses, oncologists, internal medicine doctors, psychologists, social workers, physiotherapists, and even some biomedical engineering that found some place themselves on the stimulating and enriching program with 52 sessions! On day 27, previous to the event start, there were several meetings of the Study Group leaders and the also the Executive Board of MASCC. On this occasion, we discussed about strategies and plans for the next 2 years regarding the society and members.
