Among the emblematic cases we can identify the following: Bank of England (Allison, 2015), Visa (Arnold, 2016), Santander, UBS, BNY Mellon, Deutsche Bank (Gallen, 2016). The best-known application is cryptocurrency, in particular, BitCoin.
