The dual description consists of five-dimensional AdS spacetime with Einstein gravity coupled to a scalar field that breaks conformal symmetry, in order to model non-conformal systems inspired by QCD. By numerically solving the Einstein-Klein-Gordon equations, we construct black brane solutions and extract the temperature and entropy associated with thermal states in the dual QFT.
