In both cases it is highly relevant to be aware of the dose that can be received by the patients as well as for the public and the workers who carry out such labors and how to protect them as much as possible following the corresponding legislation. To make the hospital become a risk-free place involving such radiation, protection measures must be applied: from individual protection protocols to shielding of the facilities using ionizing radiation.
