This research aims to develop an image software simulator of confocal microscopes focusing on the Superfast Confocal Microscopy through Enhanced Acousto-Optic Modulation (SCREAM). The simulation code is written in Python, is based on physical principles and it computes the image produced by the microscope using different filtering methods.
