Using data from the LHCb experiment, a Boosted Decision Tree (BDT) classifier is developed, enhancing the signal-to-background ratio by a factor 2 compared to standard selection criteria. This approach resulted in a clean Ω0c mass peak, enabling the exploration of excited states. The invariant mass spectra reveal hints of a potential resonance11 p.application/pdfengcc-by-nc-nd (c) Garcia, 2025http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/es/Física de partículesAprenentatge automàticTreballs de fi de grauParticle physicsMachine learningBachelor's thesesMulti-strange baryon spectroscopy at the LHCb experiment in Ω0c → Ξ−K−π+π+ decaysinfo:eu-repo/semantics/bachelorThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess
