In this project, we will study the concepts for understanding Tait’s conjecture “if a knot is amphicheiral, it has an even number of crossing points”. In particular, we go into the Jones polynomial. This research is carried out in order to design an activity to bring to a baccalaureate classroom. Moreover, manipulative materials and ICT tools are included. In this way, contemporary and advanced mathematics can be brought closer to high school students.51 p.application/pdfcatcc-by-nc-nd (c) Clàudia Casero Canyigueral, 2022http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/es/Teoria de nusosTreballs de fi de grauTopologia de baixa dimensióEnsenyament de la matemàticaDidàctica de la matemàticaKnot theoryBachelor's thesesLow-dimensional topologyMathematics educationMathematics teaching methodsDidàctica de la teoria de nusos: problema de la quiralitatinfo:eu-repo/semantics/bachelorThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess
