Curs: 2021-2022. Tutor: Cristian Fàbrega GallegoThe current energetic crisis presents the opportunity to find alternatives to the fossil fuel based conventional energy sources. The main goal of this project is to size a self-consumption photovoltaic system in a building of the HORECA sector, which has a consumption profile with a continuous demand during the 24 h of the day. Two different scenarios are considered: 1) On-grid systems and 2) Offgrid systems. In the first scenario two designs were simulated, a electricity surplus focused generation system to benefit from the economic compensation, and a system that maximizes self-consumption with the minimum generation of surplus electricity. These two designs present payback times under 6,5 years, independently from the compensation price. Moreover, values of 45,00 % and 36,51 % independence from the grid are obtained, respectively. In the second scenario, the viability of lithium and lead batteries with a back-up generator is studied. With the current electricity price the designs are not economically viable, but the gap to viability is smaller than expected. The main obstacle of the Off-grid systems is the renovation battery extra cost, because during the lifetime of the system, the battery will be changed more than twice. The photovoltaic solar energy has a great potential in the energetic transition and the fight against climate change61 p.application/pdfcatcc by-nc-nd (c) Morera, 2022http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/es/Generació d'energia fotovoltaicaEstudis de viabilitatTreballs de fi de màsterPhotovoltaic power generationFeasibility studiesMaster's thesesInstal·lació Fotovoltaica d’Autoconsum per una Empresa del Sector HORECAinfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess
