La implementació del projecte 22@ al barri del Poblenou: anàlisi d’una transformació urbana amb llums i ombres

[cat] El Poblenou és un dels barris de Barcelona que més canvis ha patit durant les darreres dècades. Es caracteritza per ser un espai que s’ha anat adaptant amb el temps a les necessitats dels ciutadans que hi resideixen. En els seus orígens estava format per indústries, destacat com un dels indrets amb més activitat de l’Estat espanyol durant els últims dos segles, a resultes de la seva connexió amb la línia ferroviària del Maresme. Actualment, es segueixen mantenint molts dels habitatges que hi havia però la majoria d’edificis d’ús industrial han estat enderrocats, i només hi romanen alguns que han estat rehabilitats per destinar-los al servei del veïnat. És per això que l’objecte d’estudi del treball es centra en les 200 hectàrees de sòl, anomenades Districte 22@, que ja han estat transformades per establir-hi les activitats i centres de coneixement. La pregunta principal de la present investigació és analitzar com s’ha dut a terme aquesta transformació urbana, que ha vist reconvertir una de les zones industrials preeminents de Barcelona ja fa més de dues dècades en el centre neuràlgic del coneixement i de noves iniciatives (dites emprenedores). Tot i així, hi ha una clara polarització de les idees del veïnat, fet que ocasiona un conflicte viu amb les institucions polítiques.

[eng] Poblenou is one of the neighbourhoods that has suffered more changes during the last decades. It is distinguished for being a space that has got an easy adaptation during the last years and has kept within the needs of the citizens that live there. Originally this place was set up with industries, it was one of the main spots in Spain related to industry. One of the most important facts was that Poblenou was connected to the first train line which got to Maresme. Nowadays most of the housing remain standing but some of them were demolished. However, some of these dwellings had been refurbished to fulfil the district needs. That is why the study object of the research is focused on the 200 hectares of land named Districte 22@, these ones had already been transformed to establish the activities and centres of knowledge. The main question of the present research is to analyse how this urban transformation has been carried out, which has seen the reconversion of one of the preeminent industrial areas of Barcelona more than two decades ago into the hub of knowledge and new initiatives (so-called entrepreneurs). However, there is a clear polarization of neighbourhood ideas, which causes a lively conflict with political institutions.
