Memorias de la sabina

Abstract

[spa] Memorias de la sabina es una construcción efímera y de recorrido en el espacio donde trasladarse a una nueva atmósfera de colores sobre telas impregnadas con hojas y flores. Lo que busco es transmitir una emoción, sensación creando ambientes únicos que nos inviten a vivir una experiencia de colores y que nos transporten a un atardecer sobre el mar. He intentado representar esa vivencia de la que me empapo durante los veranos. La isla de Ibiza ha sido mí inspiración todos estos años, porque en ella he descubierto una belleza especial. Por eso, en esta instalación deseo transmitir esa armonía que siento con el entorno. Trato de revivir esas sensaciones mediante una gran instalación que permita sumergirse totalmente en la idea que se presenta. La escultura interrumpe en el espacio frágilmente a pesar de la firmeza del hierro que contrasta con la delicadeza y poética que nos trasmite la tela. Estar en contacto con la naturaleza, manipular tejidos, confeccionar la forma, componer colores y texturas es una manera de sintetizar en un trabajo todos mis intereses lo que ha hecho que me sienta muy cómoda durante el proceso. Esta fue la motivación principal para continuar con “Camale__on” y sus posibilidades. A veces es necesario volver a lo básico para ir más lejos entendiendo primero la naturaleza del método protagonista, explorando sus posibilidades y construyendo una base completa para poder empezar a crear, en este caso, mi recorrido.

[eng] Memories of junipers tree is an ephemeral construction that moves us into a new atmosphere of colors on impregned fabrics with leaves and flowers. My first intension was to convey an emotion, creating unique environments that invite us to live an experience of colors that moves us to a sunset over the sea. I tried to represent my own experience of all my summers. The island of Ibiza has been my inspiration throughout the years, because in Ibiza, I discovered a natural beauty. That ́s why with this installation I seek to represent the harmony I feel with the environment. I want to relive those sensations through a big structure that allows you to fully immerse yourself in the idea presented. The sculpture fragilely interrupts in the space, despite of the strength of the iron. It contrasts with the softness and poetry that the fabrics transmits. Being in contact with nature, the manipulation of textiles, the construction of shapes and the composition of colors and textures is the way I synthesized all my interests of nature and Ibiza in my project. It is what made me feel comfortable during the creation process. This was my main motivation to continue with camale__on and its possibilities. Sometimes it ́s necessary to go back to the beginning to understand its nature and to move forward. There is always an important method for each project, where you need to explore all the possibilities and trace your unique path.
