Estrategias de aprendizaje en la interacción oral: una comparación de la influencia de la cultura de origen

Abstract

Este trabajo consiste en una comparación entre las estrategias de aprendizaje en la interacción oral que utilizan hablantes de E/LE de procedencias culturales diferentes. Se comparan las estrategias utilizadas por aprendices cuya lengua materna es tipológicamente más cercana al español (italianos) y otros cuya lengua materna es tipológicamente más lejana al español (alemanes). Además, se observan las diferencias en la gestión de cambios de turnos entre ambos tipos de hablantes. Los datos que se han analizan han sido recogidos mediante conversaciones entre hablantes no nativos de distintas nacionalidades y a partir de una encuesta realizada a estos mismos participantes. Los resultados del estudio muestran diferencias entre las estrategias utilizadas por los distintos hablantes no nativos, según su lengua materna, así como en la frecuencia de aparición de fenómenos como solapamientos e interrupciones.

This research is a comparison between the learning strategies used in oral interaction by Spanish as foreign language speakers with different cultural backgrounds. This research compares the strategies used by learners whose mother language is typologically closer to Spanish (Italians) and the strategies used by learners whose mother language is typologically more distant (Germans). Moreover, the differences in the management of turn taking between the two type of participants are analyzed. The data has been collected through the recording of conversations of non native speakers with previously mentioned two nationalities and through the participant's answers to a survey. The results of the research show differences between the strategies used by the different non native speakers depending on their mother language, as well as differences in the frequency of appearance of phenomena like overlapping and interruptions.
