La Torre i el Palau del Borja (Canals, València). Estudi evolutiu i reconstruccions en 3D

Abstract

[cat] La família valenciana dels Borja, és una de les famílies més importants i conegudes de l’Europa dels segles XV i XVI gràcies a l’arribada al tron papal de dos il·lustres membres d’aquest llinatge com van ser Calixt III (Alfons de Borja) i Alexandre VI (Roderic de Borja). Però la historia del seu origen no és molt coneguda. Alfons de Borja naix a la vila de Canals (València) el 31 de desembre de 1378, al palau gòtic que hui en dia es troba desaparegut. A partir d’aquest treball, es donarà a conèixer les diverses fases de la Torre de Canals, des del seu origen islàmic fins la seua restauració al 1995, passant per aquest esplendor del palau gòtic durant l’etapa en que els Borja estaven allí establerts com a senyors feudals. Per poder visualitzar aquests períodes, es realitzaran diferents reconstruccions en 3D a partir de programes de realització virtual com són SketchUp i Render. L’objectiu serà incrementar la importància del patrimoni borgià a la Comunitat Valenciana.

[eng] The Valencian family of the Borgia is one of the most important and well-known families of Europe in the 15th and 16th centuries thanks to the arrival to the Vatican’s throne of two illustrious members of this line such as Calixtus III (Alfons de Borja) and Alexandre VI (Roderic de Borja). But the history of its origin is not very well-known. Alfons de Borja was born in the village of Canals (Valencia) on December 31, 1378, in the gothic palace that is disappearing in the daytime. From this study, will be revealed the various phases of the Tower of Canals, from its Islamic origins to its restoration in 1995, going through this splendor of the gotich palace during the period in which the Borgia were established there like feudal lords. To be able to visualize these periods, different reconstructions will be carried out in 3D from virtual delivery programs such as SketchUp and Render. The objective will be to increase the importance of the Borgia’s heritage in the Valencian Community.
