dc.description.abstract | The purpose of the present work is to vindicate the philosophy of Novalis underlying his work Hymns to the night. The magnitude of this makes special sense in the therapeutic era, where the questions we ask ourselves are prefigured by the assumptions on which the treatments we undergo are based. Treatments and their defective copies: self-help and other tools for self-improvement. Novalis is, however, the consequence of a series of philosophers of the subject. He surpasses them and condenses them in what concerns the Hymns at night, offering a way out of the unknowns that they leave unclear. He tries to illustrate it by contrasting his gesture with that of a good part of the self-help works. Keywords: Novalis, self-help, philosophy of the subject, spirit, abyss | ca |
