| spa |
dc.description.abstract | [eng] Based on an investigation about beauty and ugliness understood as social spheres, an installation formed by a series of drawings on paper, plastic and mirrored paper is born. These are framed by shadows and lights produced by two overhead projectors and accompanied by wind chimes, which alert the spectator of their active presence in the art work. The images shown are hybrid bodies: Transmuted Creatures whose ugliness has freed itself from its subordination towards the system of beauty and becomes a companion to the Dark. This entails, in turn, a recognition of dissident identities and of the infinite possibilities of the future that the expansive metamorphosis of otherness can bring us. | eng |
