| ca |
dc.description.abstract | [eng] HoldMate arises from a specific need that affects users with motor functional diversity in the hand. The project aims to offer them greater autonomy when it comes to carrying out everyday tasks that require the attachment of a utensil. To do this, preliminary research is carried out on how it can affect motor functional diversity in the hands, an analysis of the support products offered by the market and interviews are carried out with previously selected users. Based on the information obtained, conclusions are drawn that confirm an existing need in this group. Finally, through the people-centered design methodology and through 3D printing, HoldMate is created, a tool that adapts to all kinds of hands - in shape and size - that allows users with motor functional diversity in the hand to write and eat by themselves. | eng |
