In recent studies of the proton-deuteron femtoscopic correlation function, the Lednick´y approximation is employed to describe the wave function of the two-body system, but the results deviate strongly from experimental data of the ALICE collaboration, and suggest the need for a full threebody study. Considering these challenges, an alternative approach is proposed by solving the proper wave function of the two-body Schr¨odinger equation, using a numerical program following the Numerov algorithm. This simple model describes the ALICE data reasonably wellca
