Mi rancho: una invitació a un model educatiu i de centre residencial obert, que protegeix i garanteix drets, per a infants i adolescents

Abstract

[cat] Els centres residencials de protecció a la infància i adolescència són espais de vida; en aquest cas, parlem d'un espai transitori i temporal que serà "la casa" d'aquests nens i nenes fins a una data límit i aquesta recerca presenta un model d'atenció obert, basat en valors com la llibertat, la responsabilitat, la confiança i la participació dels infants que hi resideixen i amb una cultura de centre molt arrelada entre totes les persones que formen part del projecte investigat, ja que es un centre amb més de trenta anys de treball oferint una alternativa educativa on l'espai físic i la metodologia estan al servei de la vida dels infants i adolescents que hi viuen, però també per a tota la comunitat que habita al voltant del centre. Tot i la necessària contextualització i adaptació d'aquest model al voltant del nostre territori, alguns dels elements analitzats tenen punts en comú amb la realitat més propera del nostre país i permeten posar en valor el treball fet. Segons la llei 14/2010, en l'article 132.3, "els centres han de ser oberts, integrats en un barri o una comunitat, i s'han d'organitzar sempre en unitats que permetin un tracte afectiu i una vida quotidiana personalitzats", unes orientacions que són importants i tot i estar molt d'acord en aquest paràgraf ens podem adonar que, a Catalunya, és difícil trobar un model de centre com el que es descriu, fet que obliga a l'àmbit de l'educació social a tenir una mirada crítica i reflexiva de la realitat educativa actual dels centres si es volen realitzar canvis o millores. Tot i l'existència de la llei, aquesta és un marc general que orienta a l'acció educativa i el pla marc dels centres residencials de la DGAIA, pot deixar a interpretacions encara subjectives, com aconseguir executar i complir l'encàrrec social. Per aquest motiu, aquesta recerca pretén ajudar a la reflexió i revisió professional a partir d'una descripció precisa d'un model de bon funcionament. Per portar a terme la investigació s'ha utilitzat la metodologia qualitativa, destacant també que hi ha una aportació vivencial i etnogràfica de l'investigador, basada en l'experiència personal de viure i treballar durant quasi set anys en el centre residencial i que ha forjat un cert coneixement dels codis culturals i de les pautes de relació social de centre investigat. Com a tècniques de recollida d'informació s'han realitzat les entrevistes a professionals de l'àmbit i el relat de vida d’un jove que va residir durant un llarg temps al centre. La investigació s'ha dut a terme sota els criteris de rigor científic de la credibilitat, transferibilitat, consistència, confirmabilitat, rellevància i adequació teòrica-epistemològica, principalment, i els criteris ètics de consentiment informat, confidencialitat, gestió de riscos, entrevistes, gravacions d'àudio o vídeo.

[eng] Residential centers for the protection of children and adolescents are living spaces; in this case, we are talking about a transitory and temporary space that will be the "home" of these children until a deadline and this research presents an open care model, based on values such as freedom, responsibility, the trust and participation of the children who live there and with a deeply rooted center culture among all the people who are part of the researched project, since it is a center with more than thirty years of work offering an educational alternative where the physical space and the methodology are at the service of the children's lives and teenagers who live there, but also for the entire community that lives around the center. Despite the necessary contextualization and adaptation of this model to the environment of our territory, some of the elements analyzed have points in common with the closest reality in our country and allow the work done to be valued. According to law 14/2010, in article 132.3, "the centers must be open, integrated in a neighborhood or a community, and must always be organized in units that allow an emotional treatment and a personalized daily life" , guidelines that are important and despite being very much in agreement with this paragraph we can realize that, in Catalonia, it is difficult to find a center model like the one described, a fact that forces the field of social education to have a critical and reflective look at the current educational reality of the centers if changes or improvements are to be made. Despite the existence of the law, this is a general framework that guides the educational action and the framework plan of the residential centers of the DGAIA, can still be left to subjective interpretations, how to manage to execute and fulfill the social task. For this reason, this research aims to help professional reflection and review based on a precise description of a well-functioning model. To carry out the research, the qualitative methodology has been used, also emphasizing that there is an experiential and ethnographic contribution of the researcher, based on the personal experience of living and working for almost seven years in the residential center and that has forged a certain knowledge of the cultural codes and social relationship guidelines of the researched center. Interviews with professionals in the field and the life story of a young person who resided for a long time at the center were used as information gathering techniques. The research has been carried out under the scientific rigor criteria of credibility, transferability, consistency, confirmability, relevance and theoretical-epistemological adequacy, mainly, and the ethical criteria of informed consent, confidentiality, risk management, interviews, recordings audio or video.
