dc.description.abstract | [eng] Texts that have a significant presence of dialectal features present a challenge when it comes to translation. This paper intends to present an analysis of one such work of fiction and its use of the dialectal variation known as Black English, combined with a review of the translation methods proposed in the existing literature, and to offer a translation proposal of three extracts from the book The Women of Brewster Place by Gloria Naylor taking into account the literary dialect used by the author. | ca |
